Reston Town Center has many establishments, ranging from restaurants to clothing stores to movies theaters and other entertainment.
No Santa usually hangs out there in late November December. He’s usually gone in March. That being said if you do find him I don’t know if I’d let my kid near him.
Yes, it should be open on January 1st. The ice skating rink is open from November 8th until March 15th this year. On January first, the rink will be open from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm.
There is a holiday parade every year at the Reston Town Center. It usually occurs during late November. The Reston Community Center sponsors the event and you can find information about it on the community center website.

As I heard;but it's suppose to rain all day and night as well as tomorrow.
Honestly magical place during the holidays. Can tuck away for a full day of fun from $5 horse carriage rides, to a movie with modern seating and a bar, to restaurants, a couple fun little craft shops, ice skating and model train holiday viewing at the hotel. Even the parking situation (which still annoys) doesn't take the vibe away. Good on you Robert E. Simon.
Nice restaurant and store area. Movie theater and an ice skating rink during winter months.
Enjoyed, nice and clean everyone following coronavirus rules. Making you stay feel safe.
Clean, pedestrian friendly and plenty of restaurants/cafes.
Reston Town Center (RTC) is a happening place, full of restaurants, eateries and pubs. Ample parking is available in a couple of huge parking lot towers. RTC is a fun place for an enjoyable evening or anytime outing with family and friends, for leisure or for business.
Really nice area, near the bus line, great parking deck, it's free after 4 and somedays on the weekend, has ice skating area, great for kids
It's an attractive town center. The only spoiler is that you have to pay for parking after an hour. If you have a validation code the kiosks don't always accept it so you have to do it another way. It's easy to find parking on the lot.
Best place for weekend hangout. Many places to eat, cinema hall, there is fountain which is open in summer and around that keep happening activities in summer like live concerts, farmers market. in winter there will be Christmas tree, lights all over the place, skating. Anyone can spend good weekend evening over there. Just one downside parking 1 year back they did paid parking which affected few businesses recently. But now I guess weekend parking is free but better check before planning to visiting the place.
Reston is a pretty little town close to Washington Dulles Airport. Nice bars & restaurants are located here. There are a few shopping outlets but not many by US standards. It has an Ice rink in the winter months and some scenic walks nearby. It feels very safe too. It has a metro link & easy access by road.
Always an amazing experience. Ever since I was a baby my parents would bring me here. Now I take my daughter. Amazing selection of shops, restaurants and things to do. Personally love the ice skating!
My 2 favorite places in RTC. Great VEGAN options at both 🤩🤩
Nice place if you want to get out and window shop or pick up a bite to eat.
the parking situation (there's an app for that) is needlessly complicated, definitely not worth the trouble (and cost) for restaurants and stores you can find elsewhere
Fun place to visit. Lots of things to do.
Beautiful place. Reminds of places in Europe where i lived few years of my life. Bus and metro stations very near and just a super nice place to be.
If you live here it's great. If you don't the parking's a bit of a hassle.the weird parking hours make it so you can't spend the night add a friends or boyfriends without parking pretty far away and walking over. Ugh. That said it's well-maintained and plenty of things to enjoy.
Very neat shopping atmosphere. Great restaurant choices. Reasonable parking fees, free after five and maybe on the weekends too. They have live entertainment on some days. Very pretty friendly.
Great places, good people and a short walk!
As a place to walk around or sit and have lunch, the Town Center has a lot to offer. There is one hour free parking in the garage but not on the street. I gotta say the odd presence of the yellow vested "security" guards lingering at every corner is off putting.
Great place to be- A lot of shops and restaurants. I gave three star because of parking g. You need a special app for parking. Download it b4 you go.
Beautiful place. Full of life! Great restaurants and shops!
I live in Reston and this is my favorite place to go. They have some of the best shops and restaurants.
I like the place very beautiful offices and market.
Lots of places too eat and shop. It's a nice outdoor area for walking around and getting a bite to eat.
I'm not sure how these businesses stay open, and from the looks of things, they aren't. The parking situation is a nightmare, it's as if the management company wants this center to die. It's enough to keep locals away. Fortunately, the movie theater validates, so you can still enjoy the theater without too much trouble.
Reston town center is fantastic. Restaurants, shopping, drinks, and coffee. The Hyatt Regency is really nice and within walking distance of the town center. Jackson's, Ted's Bulletin, and Barcelona Wine Bar are all fantastic places to eat. These places also have a great bar scene for a more mature crowd. Plenty of parking within the garages and most places validate.
Lots of shops and restaurants, several dog friendly places and people.
Best place to shop, eat and work.
Pedestrian friendly roads, lots of restaurants and bars to chose from plenty of parking in the garages (not free anymore). Accessible for buses and taxis.
Nice upscale down town with plenty of things to do. Way to many people tho with covid 19. If u go at night expect it to be pretty crowded and wear a mask for sure
Parking! Goodnight!!! It's completely ridiculous to try to park here. Its seems to be killing business as well. The shops that have stuck around are good, but given the choice I'll go somewhere else.
Food is great, Drinks are tasty also. I'd skip the tableside guacamole. It's the exact same as what they sell from the menu but twice the price. Service is always on point.
Great place to do a lot of things, but I can’t believe the parking is paid!
Excellent place to hangout, relax, shop, have fun with friends or family. It has everything for everyone.
As always the ladies behind the bar were friendly Christina and Jen. Had the crab cakes with remoulade sauce. They were fantastic.
Love going here. The shops are nice and food options are vast. Love the live music and happy hours
The Reston Town Center is a lovely place to visit for shopping, eating, vacation or work. My main office building is located nearby, so for me it’s particularly lovely to walk out and have such a lovely location to be able to walk through while I have my meals throughout my work day. Well lit, safe at all times. Great for families during Christmas when the ice rink is operational.
This place is great. Lots of of choices to eat. Resteraunts are on the medium high side of pricing, but there are some cheaper fast foolish places
Nice selection of shops and restaurants.
The. Best. Salsa. Ever. Sometimes we order the entree and just take it home bc the chips and salsa are just that good!
So many great restaurants to choose from, great atmosphere, fun stores. I always love coming to Reston Town center. Now if only management was smart enough to realize charging for parking is killing them, it would be perfect.
This is a must see in this area. You must come out during the winter when they turn a section of it into an outdoor ice skating rink! Courteous security guards patrolling the area made me feel safe and welcome. I did get a parking warning on my car for a violation that I am still confused by because it seemed like there were street line parking spots, and nothing to indicate no parking or tolled parking. There are parking garages so its probably better to park there just to be on the safe side. I am not sure if the garages charge a fee?the parking situation would be the only negative. The area was clean and esthetically pleasing with art, waterfalls, pretty lighting, and holiday decorations. The shops are impressive. This is like the sacs 5th Avenue of Virginia. The hustle and bustle of it all is very glamorous.
A slightly "stuck up" environment, as far as the company of people goes. I am a contractor and seem to be getting a lot of looks in the attire I choose. But the customer service, buildings, cleanliness, etc.. are wonderful. I enjoy going here.
The Town Center has evolved over the years. There was plenty of parking available. We went to Clydes for lunch. The service was great & the food was outstanding. Our server took care of the adults in the group, but took exceptional care of my granddaughters. She brought their drinks in sippy cups. She brought crayons & paper to keep the girls occupied. The entire visit was top notch. We will be back
Because it's so bright and filled with life out there
Lots of stuff but a little pricey and a little far. Great activities.
I love Reston Town Center but not better than Jesus. Just a portion of Democracy shown.
Not necessarily a destination stop, but if you happen to be in the vicinity of Reston Town Center, it makes for a nice, up-scale locale to dine and shop. Restaurants are terrific, and the selection of various goods and services are unique and useful.
Nice place to chill wet friends
I love it here. Family-friendly and full of good eatery.
